Hello!
Well, this is my first blog. I feel so empowered...lol!
My big excitement for the week was a mountain lion in my backyard! Very exciting but didn't get photo's so no scrapbooking the event.
Had fun last night, went to dinner with R&K. K & G got in a water fight at the restaurant, good news, we were sitting outside and not many other patrons. It did make the wait staff laugh alot and surely gave them something to talk about.
I got a kitchen Aid mixer this week so excited about that...I have been envious of Morgan's for so long! I finally took the plunge. Been a busy baking week. I made a blueberry pie last night that everyone seemed to love. Did 3 rhubarb pies for friends and familytoo. Can't believe I have been such a dolly domestic this week.
I have been making cards for soldiers this week. Our local scrapbook store collects them and then we send them on to soldiers so they have cards to send family and friends back home. Such a cool idea! Makes me feel like I'm doing a little something for our brave soldiers.
Couldn't make myself go to church today, I feel bad but I just need to be inspired and challenged more. I am so thankful I have a great Bible Study and good friends to study with! We are doing "Cast of Characters" by Max Lucado. It is a fun and a very human way to look at the people of the Bible and the challenges they faced.
